About us
Bravada Goldens began in 1989 and has always been much more than a breeding program to us. Our Goldens are part of our family and have been raised right alongside our children for more than 35 years.
My husband and I raised five children, and for many years our puppies grew up surrounded by kids, homeschooling, family activity and all the everyday commotion of a busy home. Those children are grown now, and our home has changed over the years, but not nearly as much as you might think! Our children and grandchildren are still a big part of our lives, and our puppies continue to be raised right here in our home, surrounded by people, other dogs, children visiting, and normal family life — never raised in a kennel.
Our Christian faith has always been an important part of our family and the way we live our lives. We have been blessed to meet many wonderful families through our dogs over the years, including many who have become friends.
We love Golden Retrievers for their beauty, temperament and wonderful ability to become such an important part of a family. We breed with an emphasis on health, temperament and the qualities that have made us love this breed for so many years. Our breeding dogs receive appropriate health clearances for hips, elbows, heart and eyes, along with genetic testing.
I am a member of the Atlanta Golden Retriever Club and the Golden Retriever Club of America and have been involved with Golden Retrievers since 1989.
Even after all these years, there is still something special about every litter. We love watching the puppies grow up in our home, getting to know their individual personalities, and eventually placing them with families who will love them as much as we do.
Our puppies leave our home to become what they have been from the very beginning — part of a family.
